Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma declared the Gunotsav 2025 results today, March 27, at 11:30 a.m. at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra.
After the declaration of results, the Assam State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu highlighted the achievements of state’s education sector.
“The results of Gunotsav 2025, conducted in three phases from January 6 to February 7 across the state, reflect positive developments in our education sector. Congratulations to the authorities of each school that excelled in this assessment and upheld their commitment to success,” Pegu wrote on X.
He shared that the 38,98,945 students from 44,077 schools were evaluated by 17,585 external evaluators. The Assam government has promised to award tablets to 4,320 students and a ₹25,000 cash prize to 11,594 schools for securing A+ grades.
What is Gunotsav 2025?
Gunotsav 2025 is an initiative by the Assam government that aims to improve the education system in the state. The initiative covers classes 1 to 9 students from government/provincialised, tea garden management, tea garden model, Adarsh Vidyalaya, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas and residential schools. Schools receive A+, A, B, C and D grades on the basis of the performance.
