Pradeep Ranganathan’s latest film ‘Dragon’ continues its strong run at the box office, crossing the Rs 40 crore mark in just five days. The fun entertainer, which has been receiving positive reviews from audiences, has been performing well, particularly in Tamil Nadu and select Telugu-speaking regions.
    Dragon Movie Review

According to early estimates from the Sacnilk website, ‘Dragon’ earned approximately Rs 4.75 crore on its fifth day (Tuesday), taking its total India net collection to Rs 40.50 crore. The film’s opening weekend was impressive, with collections peaking on Sunday at Rs 12.75 crore. Despite a weekday drop, Dragon maintained a steady hold, particularly in Tamil Nadu.

On Tuesday, the film recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 32.03%, with Chennai leading the way at 43.25% occupancy. The night shows in the city performed exceptionally well with 59% occupancy. Coimbatore also saw strong numbers at 34% overall, while Madurai maintained a moderate hold at 23.75%. In the Telugu market, the overall occupancy stood at 22.55%, with Hyderabad and other cities contributing to steady footfalls.
‘Dragon’ is getting heavily positive reviews from the audiences who are praising Pardeep Ranganathan’s magnificent performance in this fun-filled entertainer.’ Dragon’ earned 4 stars out of 5 from ETimes and our review reads, “Anupama as Keerthi too is as expressive as always. Behind all the jokes and silliness the film paints the situations with, there is something deeper to look at. Do we regret our decisions? What if we go back to a place we didn’t want to be in the first place? Would we live a changed life? And a lot more questions that make the central plot firm and nuanced. The songs and the way they are woven into the narrative is also a great plus to the film. If you remember well enough, a lot of coincides, magic, and second chances happen in Oh My Kadavule, too but the actual change happens in the characters’ real life, where every action attracts an equal and opposite reaction.”
