David Beckham appreciates his wife, Victoria Beckham to be ‘one of the most hardworking women I know,’ in the light of the latest docuseries arriving on Tuesday.
Expressing that everyone’s going to see her in a different light, David emphasized the different elements, appreciating the juggling Victoria does. According to Variety, Beckham stated, “There are so many different elements of this documentary that people are going to be surprised with.” He continued, “I suppose some people probably think she started this brand and it came very easy, but she’s been working for a long time.”
Beckham revealed that his wife needed a little bit of convincing for the documentary, even though the previous ‘Beckham’ doc was awarded a Primetime Emmy. “It wasn’t something that was easy. I think I’m the only one who could convince her and I did, eventually,” the football player expressed. While he received a laud for his documentary in 2023, David admitted that he didn’t like filming one. After seeing the footage of the series, the Inter Miami CF co-owner felt of making a mistake, expressing the difficulty of watching stuff that was in the archives before. However, crediting the director for creating an authentic documentary, Beckham was grateful for the response.
The yet-to-be-titled piece of content will chronicle the Spice Girl’s life from recognition in the 90s to her current eponymous brand.
Referencing her fashion empire, David mentioned all the work Victoria went through to create a brand. He mentioned that while everybody thinks that creating something in the fashion industry would be easy for her, it is not true. The football player teases, “She’s been building this for a long time. I just think this is going to showcase that. She’s got a very witty personality — she’s very funny. Not as funny as me.”
