Rani Mukerji from her debut movie proved that she is made for strong versatile roles. When she entered into the converse with ‘Mardaani’ she impressed all as she got into the character so beautifully. Since then, any update on the franchise gets everyone excited. In 2024, the makers announced ‘Mardaani 3’ and the latest reports suggest that it will go on the floors in June this year.
According to a Mid-Day report, Rani Mukerji will be starting the shoot from June this year. Meanwhile, as we speak, the movie currently is in the process of finalizing the pre-production work and the final screenplay is getting a tuning. Further, look tests for important characters are also in the process right now. The makers are also looking for the main villain; let’s see who brings their quest to an end.
Additionally, the production team has locked primary shooting locations. Reportedly, this action-packed film will have a major chunk shot in Mumbai and Delhi. A few more locations in India will also be finalized in the coming weeks.
According to a News18 report, back in 2024 when the movie was announced, Rani Mukerji shared, “When we set out to make Mardaani 3, we were hoping that we find a script that would take the experience of watching a Mardaani franchise film higher. I am really excited about what we have at hand and I’m only hoping that the audience too feels the same after watching Mardaani 3 in theatres!”
“Mardaani is an extremely loved franchise and we have a certain responsibility to deliver to the expectation that people have. We will do our best to live up to this. Mardaani 3 is dark, deadly and brutal. So, I’m intrigued to find out the response of the people towards our film. I hope they shower this film with the same amount of love that they have always given,” she added.
