Recent reports suggested that Bollywood star Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, were heading for divorce. According to sources, Govinda’s lawyer confirmed that Sunita sent a divorce notice to the actor six months ago. However, it has now been clarified that things between the couple are fine.
Amid these divorce speculations, a video of Sunita Ahuja has gone viral on social media, where she firmly dismisses any claims of separation. In the clip, she asserts that no one can come between her and Govinda.
Sunita previously shared that she and Govinda live in separate houses, which led to rumors of marital trouble. She also revealed that she has been celebrating her birthday alone for 12 years, further fueling speculation. However, in the viral video, Sunita clarified the real reason behind their living arrangement.
She explained, “Alag-alag rehne ka matlab yeh hai ki jab unhone politics join ki thi, tab hamari beti badi ho rahi thi, aur us samay kai karyakarta ghar par aate the. Ab jab beti jawan ho gayi hai, hum ghar mein aaram se shorts pehen kar ghoomte hain, isliye humne samne hi ek office le liya tha. Agar is duniya mein koi mai ka laal mujhe aur Govinda ko alag kar sakta hai, toh samne aakar dikhaye (We live separately because when Govinda joined politics, my daughter was growing up, and many party workers would visit our home. Since we wear casual clothes like shorts at home, we decided to set up an office nearby. If anyone thinks they can separate me and Govinda, let them come forward).”
For those unaware, Govinda married Sunita in March 1987. The couple welcomed their daughter, Tina, in 1988, and also have a son, Yashvardhan. Despite rumours, Sunita often shares happy moments with Govinda and their children on Instagram and social media.
