Alia Bhatt, known for embracing challenges, recently revealed that she planned to take on the 75 Hard Challenge in early 2025. However, her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, advised her against it, reminding her that she was already juggling many commitments.
According to Pinkvilla, the actress recently spoke about the pressure of starting a new year, saying society expects people to set resolutions and take control of their lives. She admitted feeling the urge to keep pushing herself with new challenges.
The ‘Jigra’ actress shared that she wanted to try the viral 75 Hard challenge but was advised against it by her sister, Shaheen Bhatt. Shaheen reminded her that she was already managing many responsibilities, including motherhood and work, and didn’t need extra pressure.
She further admitted that her sister’s advice made her rethink the 75 hard challenge. She realized that once she committed, she would feel pressured to complete it. While she isn’t afraid of failure, she saw no need to add unnecessary stress.
The ‘Darlings’ actress shared that this experience taught her to simplify life by focusing on what feels natural instead of forcing new commitments.
For those unfamiliar, the 75 Hard Challenge is a 75-day mental toughness program by Andy Frisella, designed to build discipline, resilience, and self-control.
The 75 Hard Challenge has five strict daily rules: follow a diet with no cheat meals or alcohol, do two 45-minute workouts (one outdoors), drink a gallon of water, read 10 pages of a non-fiction book, and take a daily progress photo.
If a participant misses even one task, they must restart from day one. While the challenge is praised for building discipline and personal growth, it is also criticized for being too rigid and difficult to sustain for some people.
