Rohit Sharma is contuning his trend of losing the toss, marking the 12th straight occassion where the Indian captain failed to get the coin flip right. After winning the toss New Zealand decided to bat first, making India chase at the Dubai International stadium during Champions Trophy final.
With his 12th straight toss loss, Rohit Sharma has matched the unwanted record set by West Indies legend Brian Lara. Notably, the left handed player had lost 12 straight coin flips between October 1998 and May 1999. Meanwhile, India have lost their 15th consecutive toss in ODI cricket.
