Kajol buys commercial space in prime Goregaon for Rs 28.78 crore: Report
Kajol Devgn has purchased a 4,365 sq ft commercial space in Goregaon, Mumbai, for Rs 28.78 crore. The property, valued at Rs 65,940 per sq ft, includes a stamp duty of Rs 1.72 crore and four parking spaces. This follows her previous real estate investments in Mumbai.

Kajol Devgn has made a major real estate investment by purchasing a large commercial retail space in Goregaon, Mumbai. The property, located on the ground floor of a residential tower, covers an area of 4,365 square feet and was acquired for over Rs 28.78 crore, according to Economic Times.
The commercial space purchased by Kajol was valued at Rs 65,940 per square foot, as recorded on March 6. An investment aligns with a broader trend among high-net-worth individuals and celebrities, who are increasingly investing in commercial real estate to secure stable rental income and long-term capital growth.
As part of the transaction, Kajol’s purchase includes a stamp duty payment of approximately Rs 1.72 crore. Furthermore, the agreement provides her with exclusive rights to four designated car parking spaces, according to documents obtained from IndexTap.com.
Last August, Kajol invested in a commercial project in Oshiwara, Andheri, purchasing an office space of nearly 2,100 square feet for Rs 7.64 crore.
Prior to Kajol’s purchase, her husband, actor Ajay Devgn, acquired five office properties in the same building for Rs 45.09 crore in April 2023. These properties spanned a total area of 13,293 square feet across two floors of the tower.
