Suniel Shetty reacts to KL Rahul’s performance in Champions Trophy final against New Zealand: ‘Sab saath mein khelte hain tab maza aata hai...’

India has been basking in the joy of its latest cricketing triumph as the ‘Men in Blue’ lifted the Champions Trophy 2025. Amid the celebrations, several Bollywood stars expressed their excitement and congratulated the team. Actor Suniel Shetty, father-in-law of cricketer KL Rahul, has now reacted to the overwhelming joy of the team and his beloved son-in-law’s performance during the match.
On March 12, paparazzi shared a video of Suniel making a stylish appearance in Mumbai. He completed his look with a beige shirt and denim trousers. The actor looked vibrant with black sunglasses and a chain to complete his look. The paparazzi quickly gathered around him, eager to get his reaction to India’s resounding win against New Zealand.
When asked about KL Rahul’s contribution to the match, Suniel humbly pointed his hands upwards and said, “Sab Uparwala (God’s grace).” He later told the paparazzi while heading to the car, “Puri team bhi sath kheli hai (The entire team has played well).” He also took a moment to applaud Shreyas Iyer’s efforts, adding, “Sab saath mein khelte hain tab maza aata hai (It is fun when everyone contributes).”
Shetty’s admiration for his son-in-law KL Rahul garnered attention online. Many hailed him as the ideal father-in-law, with comments like “Best father-in-law” flooding social media. Another fan noted, “Anna himself is a cricket fan.” Several others expressed their love with heart emojis.

What a stellar show by Team India—grit, skill & pure passion! A complete team effort… Every player stepped up when it mattered. Take a bow, champs! Bleed Blue Forever.”
He also shared a special post for KL Rahul, posting his picture with the caption, “INDIA’S WISH !!!! Rahul’s COMMAND ……”
Meanwhile, Athiya Shetty, who is expecting her first child with Rahul, also showered love on her husband’s achievement.
