Ranbir Kapoor invites a Delhi-based artist to the office, praises his work: “I thought it was a scam…”

Ranbir Kapoor recently reached out to Delhi-based artist Abhay Sehgal, expressing admiration for his work and initiating a personal meeting. This encounter was sparked by Ranbir’s admiration for Abhay’s art, which led to a memorable meeting between the two. Abhay shared a photo with Ranbir on his Instagram, where the actor is seen wearing a simple yet stylish outfit—a white vest and a matching cap.

Abhay shared his excitement about the meeting in an Instagram post, expressing both disbelief and gratitude. He revealed that Ranbir Kapoor praised his art, saying, “Your art is so good, and he wants to purchase something.” At first, Abhay thought it was a scam, but when he saw Ranbir in person, he realized it was real.
He wrote, “Grew up watching Ranbir Kapoor’s movies, and today he called me over to his office, had coffee, and all he said was that my art is so good and he wants to purchase something. At first I thought it was a scam, but then the moment he came in front of me, I felt, Damn, I thought something like this would come to me when I became a big shot. I saw it coming, but honestly, when I was in my 30s or late 30s. I am still surprised that f*** this guy knows me for my craft!! Ticked something off the bucket list today,” he wrote and then also revealed that Ranbir has also ordered some custom pieces from him.

Ranbir Kapoor is currently involved in several high-profile projects. He is shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana,’ which features Sai Pallavi in a lead role. Additionally, he is working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War,’ alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Another project in his pipeline is ‘Animal Park.
