Amidst the legal proceedings for a mutual divorce between Dhanashree Verma and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal making headlines, social media users are busy speculating about Chahal’s rumoured relationship with radio jockey Mahvash. Their recent appearance at India’s ICC Champions Trophy 2025 victory in Dubai ignited speculation, and now Mahvash’s cryptic caption for her latest photoshoot has taken the internet by storm. The post surfaced shortly after reports emerged that Chahal had agreed to pay Dhanashree Rs 4.5 crore as permanent alimony.
In the series of pictures shared online, Mahvash looked stylish in a long T-shirt dress featuring red heart patterns, cinched with a black belt, and sporting a sleek high ponytail. However, it was her caption that truly piqued curiosity. She wrote, “Jhoot, lalach, aur fareb se pare hain… khuda ka shukr aaine aaj bhi khade hain…” (Far from lies, greed, and deceit… Thank God, we are still standing today, looking in the mirror).

The post gained traction instantly, especially after Chahal was spotted liking it within moments. Social media users were quick to react, with one commenting, “Chahal liked it in 10 seconds,” while another humorously remarked, “Chahal bhaiya ka IPL mein comeback dekho ab” (Watch Chahal’s comeback in IPL now). Another keen observer noted, “Chahal Bhai liked the post first when it was uploaded.”
At the same time, Mahvash recently shared an Instagram reel offering candid relationship advice, which Chahal promptly liked.

The reel, which featured Mahvash discussing modern dating norms, encouraged individuals to prioritise personal preferences over societal expectations. She captioned the video, “Tu reh dusre ki khoj mein, hum apni moj mein”. She urged people not to fall in love with someone without first understanding their own preferences. She also added that comparing one’s partner with others often leads to insecurities and criticised those who have no clarity about what they want from a relationship. Fans were quick to link her words to Chahal.
The comments section ranged from playful teasing to pointed remarks. Some users joked, “Chahal pasand hai toh Chahal ko date karo,” while others speculated, “Finally, she is talking about Chahal in a sarcastic way.” Another comment read, “Indirectly, jo bhi Dhanashree ko sunana tha, suna diya.”
Earlier this year, Mahvash addressed the rumours about Chahal and herself. She dismissed the claims as baseless, attributing them to her presence alongside a male counterpart: “The baseless rumours started doing the rounds as I was seen next to another gender.” Even though Mahvash had dismissed these rumours, they have been seen together on multiple occasions, and Chahal has yet to respond to the growing speculation.
