Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar was a grand star-studded event. One of the highlights was the rare moment when Bollywood’s three Khans, Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir, came together for a performance. In an interview with Just Too Filmy, Aamir revealed that the trio planned their skit just 30 minutes before hitting the stage, making the moment even more special for the guests.
Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan stage performance
Aamir shared that during the Jamnagar pre-wedding bash, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were initially set to perform together. However, Mukesh Ambani personally requested him to join them, believing it would delight everyone. Although it was a last-minute request, Aamir agreed, and the trio quickly planned their skit in just 30 minutes, much like preparing for a school play.
Brainstorm ideas
Aamir Khan recalled how he, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan sat together to brainstorm ideas for their performance. He appreciated the ease with which they could openly accept or reject each other’s suggestions, making the process smooth and enjoyable. During rehearsals, he even joked with Salman about speaking louder so he could react properly. After wrapping up the rehearsal, Aamir playfully suggested that they should do a film together, to which both Salman and Shah Rukh agreed. Given their decades-long presence in the industry, he believed that audiences would love to see them share the screen.
During their performance, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan staged a playful mock fight, while Aamir Khan stepped in as the peacemaker. The trio then entertained the audience by dancing to the Hindi version of ‘Naatu Naatu’, ‘Naacho Naacho’ from ‘RRR’. Adding to the excitement, Ram Charan later joined them on stage, making the moment even more special.
On the professional front
Aamir, who recently turned 60, is gearing up for his next film, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. Salman Khan’s upcoming movie, ‘Sikandar’, is set to release next week, while Shah Rukh Khan will be seen next in ‘King’.
