Brad Pitt is embracing a new chapter in his life, feeling content and at peace now that his lengthy divorce battle with Angelina Jolie has officially ended. The two-time Academy Award winner, now 61, is reportedly in a “great place” with his girlfriend, jewelry designer Ines de Ramon.
According to People, Pitt is relieved that his difficult divorce proceedings are finally over. After an exhausting eight-year legal fight involving custody disputes and property disagreements, the actor finalized his divorce with Jolie in December 2024.
“Brad is genuinely happy now that everything with the divorce is behind him,” a source told People. “Things are calm for the family and he’s finally able to focus on moving forward.”
While the separation from Jolie, with whom he shares six children, was turbulent, Pitt found comfort in his relationship with de Ramon. The insider noted that the Fight Club star is “really happy” in his romance, adding, “They’re in a great place and life feels good right now.”
Pitt and de Ramon’s relationship first caught public attention in late 2022 when they were seen together at a concert. Sources at the time revealed that the couple had already been quietly dating for several months.
As reported by Page Six, de Ramon,who was previously married to Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley from 2019 to 2022 grew closer to Pitt over time. She even joined him for his 59th birthday celebration and later accompanied him to the afterparty for his film Babylon. Despite attending public events together, the pair kept their romance low-key for quite some time.
In 2024, Pitt and de Ramon made their first official red-carpet appearance as a couple at the Venice Film Festival confirming their relationship to the public.
An insider previously told Page Six that Pitt deeply values de Ramon’s calming presence and support during what has been a stressful period in his life. “She’s had such a positive impact on him,” the source shared. “She’s grounded, has a great perspective on life, and doesn’t get caught up in all the media noise.”
Another source described the actor being “smitten” with de Ramon, expressing how grateful Pitt feels to have her by his side.
As Pitt moves forward from his complicated past with Jolie, he appears to be embracing a more peaceful and joyful phase in both his personal life and relationships.
