Aruna Irani assures fans she will be able to walk in another 10 days after injury in Bangkok

Veteran actress Aruna Irani recently addressed concerns about her health after a video of her at Mumbai airport in a wheelchair, holding crutches, went viral. Fans were worried after watching the video, and the actress has now revealed that she will recover soon.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Aruna Irani clarified that she is doing well and expects to make a full recovery soon. She had been using a wheelchair due to a fractured foot following a fall in Bangkok.
She also added that the plaster will be removed soon, and she anticipates regaining full mobility within a week. The actress expressed how happy and grateful she is for her fans and well-wishers, who were constantly seeking updates about her health.

The ‘Beta’ actress acknowledged that the recovery process had its challenges, as she was also battling a viral infection alongside her foot injury. She injured her foot after a fall in Bangkok during a casual outing for shopping.
The veteran actress further shared her recovery timeline, stating, “I will be able to walk in another 10 days. The plaster will be off in another week, and then I will start walking slowly again. Till then, I am resting at my place in Mumbai.”

Following her return to Mumbai yesterday (February 25), a video of her sitting in a wheelchair and holding crutches gained traction online. In the clip, she was seen singing the classic Bollywood track “Haal Kaisa Hai Janaab Ka” from the film Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi.
Addressing it, she remarked, “I was smiling and singing in that video. And I am doing that now. I am recovering well. Till then, I am resting at home and not going anywhere.”
Aruna Irani has had a remarkable journey in the film industry, beginning her career as a child artist in the 1961 film ‘Gunga Jumna‘.
