In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, Avneet opened up about inappropriate behavior on set and how she has now learned to handle such situations. Recalling her first uncomfortable encounter in the industry, she revealed a disturbing experience from when she was just eight years old.

During the conversation, Avneet shared how she first encountered inappropriate behavior at a dance rehearsal as a child. She said, “Once, during dance rehearsals, there was a spot or someone who touched here and there… at the time, I told my mother about this… then my mom told me that beta, this is bad touch, this is good touch and whatever. You have to understand that this happens. I am telling you this from back when I was eight years old. And since then, I was well prepared for such things.”
“I have grown accustomed to these problems”
Avneet further stated that over time, she has become accustomed to these unfortunate realities in the industry, just like many other girls. However, she now knows how to handle such situations.

In the same interview, Avneet opened up about the harsh realities of working in showbiz at a young age. She recalled an incident from her early career when a director’s harsh words and abuse deeply affected her self-confidence. She shared how she was given a complex monologue while working on a daily soap, and after fumbling a few times, the director’s behavior took a cruel turn. The young actress also revealed that her parents were not allowed on set, leaving her vulnerable to such behavior. When she finally shared the experience with them, the emotional toll was immense.
