Avneet Kaur began her acting career as a child artiste in television shows and made her debut in Bollywood with the film ‘Mardaani.’ She recently made headlines for her transformative look in a recent post on her social media account, sparking rumors of her undergoing a plastic surgery.
However, in a recent interview, Avneet addressed the rumors.

During a conversation with Hauterrfly, she addressed puberty and stated that she’s ‘grown up in front of the camera’ and finds it weird when people say she’s changed a lot highlighting that she was only 7-8 years old ‘literally a kid’, when she first appeared on-screen. She added that there’s going to be a change in her appearance compared to then.
She also denied rumors of undergoing cosmetic surgeries and procedures revealing the secret behind her beauty. She said that though she did not get fillers done, she does take care of her skin and gets regular facials. “I do everything to tighten my skin. I haven’t done anything to change my features, like getting a different nose. Nothing like that has happened to me. I have decent features”, she stated.

Avneet’s first appeared on TV in 2010 in the dance show ‘Dance India Dance’, but got eliminated before the semi-finals. She then made her acting debut with the show ‘Meri Maa’ in 2012 and starred in many other shows.
Her next career move was Bollywood debut. She stepped into Bollywood with Rani Mukerji’s film ‘Mardaani’, and also had a cameo in ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’. She also starred as the lead opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ and the went on to feature alongside Sunny Singh in ‘Luv Ki Arrange Marriage’.
Avneet is now all set to star in the Rahhat Shah Kazmi-directed film ‘Love in Vietnam’. The film’s release date is yet to be announced. Alongwith her, Shantanu Maheshwari, Raj Babbar, and Farida Jalal will be seen in pivotal roles. Last but not least, the movie is based loosely on the bestselling Turkish novel ‘Madonna in a Fur Coat.’
