Just weeks after finalizing his divorce from Jennifer Lopez in February, Hollywood star Ben Affleck was seen getting rather cosy with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, at their son’s birthday celebration.
Photos obtained by the Daily Mail capture Affleck, wrapping his arm around Garner at a Combat Paintball Park near Los Angeles, where they were celebrating their son Samuel’s 13th birthday. Their 16-year-old daughter, Fin, was also present, while their eldest, Violet is currently away at Yale University.
In a bunch of photos and videos from the family day out, Affleck and Garner were seen smiling away as they chatted and teamed up for the game. Photos show the actor casually wrapping an arm around Garner’s waist as she took aim in the paintball game. According to the report, Affleck was also seen pulling Garner in for a brief yet intimate embrace and she reciprocated by seemingly leaning in.
The photos of the two having a cosy time amidst the game has fuelled romance speculation. The former Hollywood power couple has been growing close over the past years, sparking chatter about the nature of their relationship. While those close to the two have reportedly denied allegations about a potential rekindling of a romance between the former couple, their photos and videos speak otherwise.
Ben and Jen were married for 13 years before divorcing in 2018. Despite their difficult split, Garner has been seen standing by Affleck and helping him with his sobriety journey. She was also his pillar of support throughout his highly publicized split from Lopez.
Despite the apparent closeness, the report claims that sources continue to deny anything romantic between the couple. While Ben is newly single, Jen has been in an on-and-off romance with John Miller.
Affleck and Garner continue to co-parent their three children amicably and have been spending time together over the holidays and even jetting out on family getaways. They most recently spent Christmas and New Year’s together. Ben also took refuge in Jen’s home with the kids during the LA fires that ravaged homes in Hollywood.
