Kader Khan began his career with serious roles but later shifted to comedy. He debuted in ‘Daag’ in 1973 and went on to appear in over 300 films, including Hindi and Urdu productions. Early Life and Struggles
According to a report by News18, Kader faced numerous challenges during his early life. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, his family moved to Mumbai in search of better prospects but struggled with financial instability. These hardships reportedly caused frequent conflicts between his parents, ultimately leading to their divorce. Following this, Kader Khan’s mother was forcefully remarried by her relatives.
Life After Mother’s Remarriage
Khan faced many challenges after his mother remarried. His stepfather treated him poorly, making him walk long distances to earn money and beg. The family struggled financially, eating only three days a week. Once, frustrated, Kader Khan burned his books, but his mother scolded him and urged him to study hard for a better life.
Career Beginnings
After his mother passed away, Kader worked hard to succeed. He graduated and taught at a college. During a play, comedian Agha noticed his talent and introduced him to Dilip Kumar. Impressed, Dilip Kumar cast him in ‘Sagina’ and ‘Bairaag’, starting Kader Khan’s Bollywood career.
Kader Khan continued acting in films until 2015, with his last appearance in 2017 film ‘Masti Nahi Sasti’. He passed away on December 31, 2018, at the age of 81 due to supranuclear palsy, a degenerative disease.
