Australia sets competitive total
Batting first, Australia were bowled out for 264 in 49.3 overs. Captain Steve Smith top-scored with 73 off 96 balls, forming key partnerships—50 runs with Travis Head (39) and 56 runs with Marnus Labuschagne (29).
Wicketkeeper Alex Carey also made a significant contribution with 61 runs.
