Infinix has launched its first smartphone of the year, the Infinix Note 50x, with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor and the company’s latest XOS 15 UI based on Android 15.

    Infinix Note 50x 5G Price:

Infinix Note 50x 5G is priced at ₹11,499 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant and ₹12,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model. Moreover, there is also a ₹1,000 bank discount on ICICI Bank credit and debit cards during the first sale that takes the price of Note 50x to ₹10,499 and ₹11,999 respectively.

The phone will be available in three colour variants: Sea Breeze Green (vegan leather finish), Enchanted Purple and Titanium Grey. The Note 50x will be available on Flipkart from 3rd April.

    Infinix Note 50x 5G specifications:

Infinix Note 50x 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 672 nits (560 nits typical brightness). As for connectivity, the phone comes with support for 9 5G bands, there is an IR blaster on top to control smart appliances but no support for NFC or wireless charging, which is par for the course.

The Note 50x comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device. It also gets an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.

Infinix claims Note 50x 5G is first phone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. While the standard Dimensity 7300 processor is a very capable processor that has been seen in many budget before like Lava Agni 3 (Review) and CMF Phone 1 (Review), it remains to be seen what makes the ‘Ultimate’ variant stand out.

The phone is paired with 6/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Note 50x packs a 5,500mAh semi-solid state battery with support for 45W of fast charging (adapter supplied inside the box) and 10W of reverse wired charging.

As for optics, the phone comes with a 50MP primary shooter and a depth sensor. On the front, is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The new Infinix device runs on the latest XOS 15 based on Android 15. With this, the Infinix users get a much needed a revamp to the UI with a much more cleaner and some added AI features. Infinix is also promising 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches with this device.
