Bollywood superstars John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan co-starred in the 2023 film Pathaan. Amid rumours of a feud, John recently opened up about his equation with Shah Rukh.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, John Abraham reflected on his memorable moment with Shah Rukh Khan at Pathaan’s success party. He shared that it was one of the best experiences of his life and described Shah Rukh as one of the best co-stars he has ever worked with.
The actor further expressed his admiration, describing Shah Rukh Khan as a gracious, charming, and genuinely wonderful human being.John added that his manager once remarked how Shah Rukh Khan symbolized love and left a lasting impact. He described him as the perfect man, especially with his iconic gesture of spreading his arms.
Previously, during a press conference, John Abraham expressed that Shah Rukh Khan is more than just an actor—he has become an emotion. John humorously recalled almost kissing Shah Rukh Khan in several scenes, emphasizing his admiration. He also praised Deepika Padukone, calling her amazing to work with, and described the film’s songs as featuring both the most handsome man and the most beautiful woman.
John admitted that while he once saw himself as an action hero, he now believes Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest action star in the country. He praised Shah Rukh’s action skills and even called him a national treasure.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan was released in 2023 and shattered box office records, becoming one of the highest opening weekend grossers in Hindi cinema. The film also featured Salman Khan in a special role.
On the work front, John Abraham is reportedly set to star in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, N.T. Rama Rao Jr., and Kiara Advani. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is slated to appear in Jawan 2 and Lion.
