Kareena Kapoor Khan has opened up about how her work contributes to her personal life, making her a better wife and mother.
In a recent conversation with Gillian Anderson for The Dirty Magazine, Kareena shared that being on set brings balance and joy, which ultimately reflects in her family life with husband Saif Ali Khan and their sons, Taimur and Jeh.
“I’m like a better parent when I’m on set because I just feel like I’m always a better mother even now and a better wife because I’m doing what I love to do the most. So when I come home, I kind of feel like, OK, now I need to just be completely focused on this,” she stated.
The actress also spoke about her natural inclination toward acting, being the fifth generation of a film family. However, she clarified that her passion for the craft is personal and not just a result of her lineage. Kareena credited her career for shaping her as an individual, teaching her empathy, resilience, and adaptability, and said she could not imagine herself in any other profession.
Kareena married Saif Ali Khan in a private ceremony on October 16, 2012. The couple welcomed their first son, Taimur, in 2016, followed by Jeh in 2021. Despite her busy schedule, Kareena has consistently maintained a balance between her professional and personal life, earning admiration for her dedication to both.
On the work front, Kareena was last seen in ‘Singham Again’, alongside Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Looking ahead, reports suggest that she has signed a major film, touted as one of the biggest Indian cinema projects, set for release in 2026.
