In the world of love triangles, Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh brought a love circle. However, it appears their love circle has failed to attract the audience to the theatres. The romantic comedy, which also stars Harsh Gujral, has completed a week’s run at the box office. According to a Sacnilk report, the movie made only Rs.0.43 crore (rough data) on its first Thursday, leading to a total of Rs. 6.7 crore.
Several trade experts predicted a decent start to the movie before its release. However, the stats didn’t support this prediction. ₹1.5 crore was the collection on Day 1, making ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ second-worst opener of 2025 so far. (Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa with ₹1.15 crore stand on the first position.
Day 2 was slightly better for the movie as with a 13 percent rise, the movie minted Rs.1.7 Cr on its first Saturday. From day 3, the decline actually began. The business went down to 1.25 crore on day 3, Rs. 0.6 crore on day 4, Rs.0.58 on day 5, and only Rs 0.57 crore on day 6. Despite the Maha Shivratri holiday, the movie failed to witness a big difference.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the overall occupancy rate on Thursday went down to 9.64 percent from 12.59 percent on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the movie is facing tough competition from Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Chhaava.’ The historical drama continues to dominate the box office with a collection of Rs.398.25 crore after a two week run at the theatres.
Also, it is worth noting that ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ opened to mixed reviews. The only thing same in the mixed reviews – Arjun Kapoor’s work has been highly lauded in the film.
