Kartik Aaryan has been in the spotlight for his transformed look in Anurag Basu’s upcoming film, initially planned as Aashiqui 3. Playing an intense rockstar, he underwent a major makeover. Following the teaser release in February 2025, fans are eagerly awaiting what the team has in store.
Kartik Aaryan recently hosted a celebration for his sister, Dr Kritika Tiwari, where actress Sreeleela was also spotted. Her presence sparked speculation about their bond beyond the film. While nothing is confirmed, fans are curious. Kartik will be seen romancing Pushpa 2 star Sreeleela in the untitled Aashiqui sequel.
The film will be Sreeleela’s Bollywood debut and is set to release on Diwali this year. In a viral video, she was seen dancing with guests while Kartik stood behind her, recording on his phone. She began doing her Kissik hook step from Pushpa 2 but quickly stopped, blushing, when she realized Mast Qalandar was playing. Kartik burst into laughter at the moment.
Rumours about Kartik and Sreeleela dating soon spread online. However, some fans were unhappy with the constant speculation about his co-stars. One user on Reddit even criticized Kartik’s PR team for repeatedly linking him to every actress he works with.
The post was captioned, ‘”Kartik’s PR, if you’re reading this, pls, pls chill for the sake of his career; linking him up for every single one of his co-stars is getting irritating now.’
While one user wrote, ‘His PR needs to come up with some good strategy as this is now way too irritating!’, another one added, ‘Iska harr movie se pehle, uske co actor ke saath link up ho jata hai. It was Sara, Kriti, abhi Sreeleela and lots more to go.’
Meanwhile, some others came to his defense. While one wrote, ‘Sreeleela is doing MBBS from the same college as Kartik’s sister did dermatology from. Maybe they know each other personally, instead of her dating him 😒 I study in the same college so ik’, another one added, ‘Yeah her mom is a doc, and sreeleela is still studying MBBS ( if i remember correctly), she usually takes time off towards the end of the year to work on her studies etc.’
