Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has confirmed to host a launch event in Singapore to reveal the new generation F series models. The launch will focus on two smartphone models, the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra which is the rebranded version of the Redmi K80 series previously launched in China. These new generation models will come with new designs, performance upgrades, and new features which will likely attract buyers in the global market. Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro launch
The Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra will officially be launched in global markets on March 27, 2025. The company is hosting a live launch event to introduce these new performance and camera-centric smartphones. The Poco F7 Pro will reportedly come with some worthy upgrades and the Poco F7 Ultra will likely challenge several flagship series smartphones, including the Galaxy S25 series, OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15, and others. Poco F7 Ultra, Poco F7 Pro: Specifications and features
The Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra may come with a similar 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Poco F7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, whereas, the F7 Ultra could come with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, offering flagship performance. Both smartphones may offer 12GB RAM with 256GB and 512GB internal storage. However, we expect that the F7 Ultra could also come with 16GB of RAM.
The Poco F7 Pro may feature a dual camera setup that may consist of a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it will likely feature a 20MP selfie camera. On the other hand, the Poco F7 Ultra could feature a triple camera setup that may include a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto lens, and a 32MP ultrawide camera.
In terms of battery life, the Pro model could come with a 6000mAh battery, whereas the F7 Ultra may be equipped with a 5300mAh battery, with both supporting 120W charging.
