    Preity Zinta praises Akshay Kumar for his kindness during her early career

    Preity Zinta fondly reminisces about her early career days working alongside Akshay Kumar. She expressed deep admiration and respect for him, appreciating how he made her feel comfortable as a newcomer in the industry by being kind and polite.
    As reported in Koimoi, Preity recalled a memorable incident from the ‘Sangharsh’ shoot. She recalled, “Aap lete hue the aur I had to come and bend there aur mera top niche gira jaa raha tha. Aur aap piche se khich ke aur mere ko pakad ke aur hum log shoot kar rahe the.”The actress further added, “So I thought jo heroes hamare saath film mein kaam karte hai woh logon ke liye hero nahi heroines ke liye bhi heroes hote hai”.
    On the professional front, Preity Zinta is making a comeback with ‘Lahore 1947’, a historical drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The film also stars Sunny Deol and his son Karan Deol, promising an engaging narrative set against the backdrop of the Partition era.
    On the other hand, Akshay Kumar has a packed slate of upcoming projects, including ‘Bhooth Bangla’, ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, ‘Jolly LLB 3’, ‘Welcome 3’, and ‘Housefull 5’.
    ‘Bhooth Bangla’, helmed by Priyadarshan and starring Tabu and Paresh Rawal, is slated for release on April 2, 2026. Meanwhile, ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story’ of Jallianwala Bagh, which also features R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, is set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
