Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Bollywood star Raveena Tandon, is steadily making her mark in the film industry. The young actress recently debuted in Abhishek Kapoor’s period drama ‘Azaad’, sharing screen space with Ajay Devgn and his nephew Aaman Devgan. Though the film underperformed at the box office, Rasha’s presence and performance were widely appreciated, cementing her as a promising newcomer.
Beyond her on-screen charm, Rasha has also won over audiences with her candid and respectful demeanor in interviews. In a recent chat with Galatta India, she demonstrated her deep-rooted admiration for industry seniors by addressing Alia Bhatt as “ma’am.”
During the conversation, Rasha’s co-star Aaman Devgan revealed his admiration for Varun Dhawan, mentioning how he frequently “stalks” the actor online. He referred to him as “Varun Dhawan Sir,” a title that surprised the interviewer. Aaman justified his choice, explaining that he was just 12 years old when Varun made his debut with ‘Student of the Year’ (2012). The interviewer then turned to Rasha, asking if she would similarly address Alia Bhatt with a formal title. Without hesitation, Rasha responded, “Then what? She is ma’am.” She then playfully calculated her own age at the time of ‘Student of the Year’s release, realizing she had been just seven years old.
The conversation then shifted to Alia’s husband, Ranbir Kapoor, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors. Known for his enigmatic aura, Ranbir remains absent from social media, at least officially, although rumors of a secret account persist. Aaman expressed his disappointment over not being able to “stalk” Ranbir online, lamenting, “I wish I could stalk Ranbir also, but he doesn’t have an Insta.”
Rasha enthusiastically agreed, chiming in, “Yeah! People wish to, want to stalk him. That’s his power! People want to stalk him.” Her statement highlighted the unique allure Ranbir holds, his absence from social media only adding to the mystery that surrounds him.
