Shubman Gill sealed the match for Men in Blue with a brilliant unbeaten hundred as India started their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 with a six-wicket win.

- 14 – Shubman Gill’s 101 not out against Bangaldesh was his 14th in international cricket since 2022. It was also his eighth ton in ODIs.
- 100 not out – India’s six-wicket win over Bangladesh was Rohit Sharma’s 100th victory as the captain of Men in Blue. So far Rohit Sharma has led India in 139 games. He also joined Australian Ricky Ponting to become the joint-fastest skipper to reach the feat.
