Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik reacts after CBI gives them clean chit in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case

The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has now given a closure to death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. There’s been years of speculation and investigation on the matter after Sushant was found dead in his apartment in June 2020. While it was called suicide, many accused that it’s a murder, including his family and hence has requested a probe from the CBI. However, the matter is now closed and Rhea Chakraborty along with brother Showik are given a clean chit on this.
After this decision comes in, Showik has now reacted. He took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “Satyamev Jayate” by sharing a video where him and Rhea can be seen walking freely.

Meanwhile, Rhea’s legal counsel Satish Maneshinde spoken up on CBI’s decision. He said, “The CBI has filed a closure report in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput after almost four and a half years. We are grateful to the CBI for having thoroughly investigated every aspect of the case from all angles and closed the case. The amount of false narrative on social and electronic media was totally uncalled for. Due to the pandemic, everyone was glued to the TV and social media in the absence of anything happening in the country. Innocent people were hounded and paraded before the media and investigative authorities. I hope this does not repeat in any case. I beseech the captains of media to reflect upon what they did.”
He recalled how Rhea had spent 27 days in jail before she was granted bail. He said, “I salute her and her family for having kept silent and yet suffered the inhuman treatment they were meted. Innocent people were hounded and paraded before media and investigative agencies. I hope such injustice is never repeated. I urge the media’s decision-makers to reflect on their actions.”
Rhea is yet to comment on the matter afte the CBI’s verdict.
