Salman Khan’s much-anticipated collaboration with filmmaker Atlee has been delayed. According to Bollywood Hungama, during a pre-release media interaction for his upcoming action film Sikandar, the Bollywood superstar confirmed that the project with Atlee will not proceed as planned for now.
Khan explained that the film’s grand scale and massive budget require extensive time and effort, equivalent to shooting two films. As a result, he has decided to prioritize and allocate his schedule to two separate projects that can be executed back-to-back.
The collaboration between Salman Khan and Atlee has been generating excitement, given Atlee’s success with action-packed blockbusters and Khan’s mass appeal. While the film’s delay is disappointing for fans, Khan’s commitment to delivering high-quality entertainment remains unchanged.
Record-breaking advance bookings for Sikandar
Despite the delay in his collaboration with Atlee, Salman Khan’s fans have much to look forward to with his upcoming release Sikandar. The advance booking for the film, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, began this morning and has already crossed impressive milestones.

The film is set to have 7,952 shows across India, highlighting the massive anticipation surrounding its release. With Eid around the corner, Sikandar is expected to draw huge crowds to theatres.
Star-studded cast and grand release
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar features Salman Khan in a powerful action-packed role alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film also stars Anjini Dhawan and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles.
The action thriller is slated for a theatrical release on March 30, and fans are eager to witness Salman Khan’s return to the big screen with this grand Eid offering.
