Salman Khan’s clean-shaven look after Sikandar wrap leaves fans concerned: ‘Our childhood hero is getting old’

Salman Khan’s new clean-shaven look has sparked a wave of reactions from fans, with many expressing concern over his health and aging at 59. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor recently wrapped up the shoot for his much-anticipated action thriller Sikandar, and the first thing he did post-shoot was shave off his beard, a look he had maintained specifically for the film.
As pictures and videos of Salman Khan’s new look surfaced online, fans had mixed emotions. While some were nostalgic and sad to see their childhood hero looking older, others continued to shower him with admiration.
“Bhai ke daadi ke baal ab safed hone lage (crying emoji),” wrote one user. “So sad to see our childhood hero getting old,” commented another. “Megastar bhaijaan kal bhi handsome tha, aaj bhi hain, aur hamesha rahenge,” a die-hard fan assured. “He looks just like his father, Salim Khan,” another fan observed. Another fan wrote, “The most beautiful man in the world Salman Khan.”
A source close to the production shared details about the last day of Sikandar’s shoot, revealing that it was a patchwork sequence featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in Bandra, Mumbai. The shoot wrapped around 8:30 PM, after which Salman immediately shaved his beard. “In real life, Salman always prefers a clean-shaven look,” the source added.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar has been shot across 90 days in multiple locations, including Mumbai and Hyderabad. The film features four songs, three dance numbers, and five major action sequences, promising an entertainer packed with high-octane action and Salman’s signature mass appeal.

Fans have already declared it a ‘paisa-vasool’ mass entertainer, marking another potential blockbuster for Salman Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, after their 2014 hit, Kick.
Following Sikandar’s Eid release, Salman Khan is set to return in Kick 2.
