As the release date of ‘Sikandar’ approaches, excitement is building among fans. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss and starring superstar Salman Khan, is set to hit cinemas on 30th March 2025. The director has shared some interesting details about the movie, promising a mix of action and emotions that will leave a lasting impact on the audience.
Salman Khan’s grand introduction scene
In an interview with Pinkvilla, AR Murugadoss spoke about Salman Khan’s powerful entry in the film. He revealed, “His introduction will be special for this film. His introduction scene will be one of the highlights.” He explained that when writing the script, they consider the hero’s fanbase and make sure the introduction scene reflects their stardom.
The film will have many high points, according to the director. He stated, “Hero introduction and a sequence towards the interval are nice. We have a very heart-melting scene in the second half and then, of course, the climax. So we have a lot of high points.”
‘Sikandar’ will be a perfect blend of action and emotion
Apart from action, ‘Sikandar’ will also have deep emotions, much like Murugadoss’ previous film ‘Ghajini.’ In an interview with ETimes, he explained that ‘Sikandar’ is not just a mass entertainer but also has strong family emotions. “This is not only a mass film; it has very strong family emotions. ‘Ghajini’ was about a boyfriend-girlfriend love story, but this is about a husband-wife relationship. It explores how families function today, how couples treat each other, and what we might be missing in our relationships. That will be a highlight of the film.”
He also compared it to ‘Ghajini,’ saying that while people saw it as a psychological thriller, the love story between Aamir Khan and Asin was a surprise element. He added, “Similarly, here there’s an element of love that will move the audience.”
Sikandar’s star-studded ensemble cast
Apart from Salman Khan, ‘Sikandar’ boasts a talented ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna, who play pivotal roles, each bringing depth to the narrative. Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar portray the film’s antagonists, adding intensity to the storyline.
