Her daughter, Raha Kapoor, is already getting familiar with the world of Bollywood music. During a press conference back in October 2024, the ‘Student of the Year’ actress shared a heartwarming story about Raha’s first Bollywood songs, giving fans a glimpse into her personal life.
Raha’s first Bollywood song
During the event, Alia spoke about how she and her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, have started introducing their daughter, who is almost two years old, to Bollywood songs. She revealed, “The first song she ever saw was ‘Kesariya’ from ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’. But yesterday, she saw ‘Radha Teri Chunri’ from ‘Student of the Year’and ‘Badtameez Dil’ from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ back to back. She must be thinking, this is normal.”
Alia’s candid words showed how she and Ranbir are blending their professional and personal lives by introducing Raha to their work.
On the work front, Alia was last seen in the action-thriller ‘Jigra’, where she played a determined young woman on a mission to rescue her brother from a foreign prison. Despite receiving praise for her performance, the film struggled at the box office.
Alia is now preparing for her next big film, ‘Love and War’ (2026), directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie, set to release on 20 March 2026, will see her alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. It is expected to be an epic love story set against the backdrop of war.
