Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently opened up about Hrithik Roshan’s battle with stuttering and how the actor worked relentlessly to overcome it. In a recent interview, Rakesh recalled a moment when Hrithik locked himself in a bathroom because he was struggling to say “Thank you, Dubai” fluently.
Speaking to ANI, Rakesh revealed that Hrithik had always been intelligent and well-educated but often held himself back due to his speech difficulties. “I used to feel bad that he had so much to say, yet he would hesitate because of his stuttering,” Rakesh shared.
He recounted how Hrithik, determined to improve, developed a rigorous practice routine. Every morning, he would spend an hour reading newspapers out loud in English, Hindi, and Urdu to enhance his fluency.
Hrithik has previously spoken about his struggles with stuttering and how he trained himself to overcome it. Rakesh noted that for the past 10–12 years, Hrithik has been able to speak fluently, proving his perseverance and dedication.
Meanwhile, Hrithik is gearing up for one of the biggest releases of 2025—War 2.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) has officially confirmed that the much-anticipated sequel will hit the big screens on August 14, 2025. The studio re-shared a fan-made video on their X handle, subtly teasing the excitement surrounding the film. The Tweet read, “Must say… you have set it up brilliantly even before we have started our marketing of #War2 there will be mayhem in cinemas on 14 August 2025, worldwide…”
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, serves as a follow-up to the 2019 blockbuster War, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. This time, Hrithik reprises his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, and joining him in a significant role is Telugu superstar Jr NTR. Kiara Advani is also part of the cast, adding to the film’s star power. With Ayan Mukerji taking over from Siddharth Anand as director, expectations are high for this action-packed sequel.
