Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala tied the knot in December 2024. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony with family and friends around in Hyderabad. The duo was dating for 2 years before they got married. In a recent interview, Chay and Sobhita have opened up on their love story and how they started talking. It was through an ‘ask me anything’ session on Instagram.
During this interview with Vogue, the couple also played a fun rapid fire. During this, they were asked who’s a better cook? Responding to it, Chay said that none of them knew how to cook. However, Sobhita added that her husband makes very good hot chocolate every night.
On hearing this, Chay took a jibe at Sobhita, saying that she lacks basic skills. He said, “Hot chocolate, coffee—all these aren’t cooking. It’s basic human skills that you don’t have.”
Sobhita had a sarcastic reply to Chay’s comment as she said, “Greatly appreciated.”
Meanwhile, Sobhita opened up on how Chay proposed to her when their families gave their blessing to the relationship. “There was no mic drop. It just happened very organically. He met her parents, she met his mom, dad and they got blessings from everyone. Once they got the blessings, he got down on one knee without any fanfare and asked for her hand. “Well, more of a crouch,” said Sobhita.
